I’ve been seeing products with skin brighteners advertised a lot lately, what exactly is it they do, and are they safe for your skin? Is it some kind of bleach?
There are a lot of safe and effective whitening ingredients in the market today which include: arbutin, licorice, Vit. C, retinoic acid, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, kojic acid.
All are equally effective especially when used regularly. The choice of the buyer just depends on the alloted budget really. Products with brands are more expensive but not really more superior.
There are 2 main actions of whiteners: 1-inhibit melanin (gives skin color) production & 2-by absorbing the UV rays, thus preventing the sun from darkening skin.
Check out our extensive whitening products which are all proven safe and effective, dermatologist and BFAD approved.

I have really dry skin, especially during the transition from summer to fall/winter. I need a foundation or powder that will help correct my redness and have medium coverage but still natural — for dry skin! In addition, I got "blessed" with sweat glands like a man from my father, so it’s be nice if it would work well with sweat — as in, it won’t cake or look bad.
Any suggestions?
Also, I have dark circles under my eyes and I know it might be hereditary, but then again, it might be from lack of sleep.
Any suggestions on any under eye brighteners?
THANKS!
It would be nice if you could tell me why the suggested items work also. Thanks!
I like origins liquid foundation and i use their eye serum helps with the dark circles which is great!! but I recently use everydayminerals and it’s pretty good as well they have concealer for dark eyes circles which I love! Origin have liquid foundation and powder. For everydayminerals they only have press powder and loose powder and it gives you light coverage feels light you’re not wearing anything at all. Hope that helps!

yes they work…take it from someone who did it but I haven’t done it in years.
Use ambi, it helps keep your skin tone even, meaning it won’t bleach you out so much so that your face looks lighter than your body.
If you can afford it, use the soap with the cream for any product you use, it will keep your skin evened out.
They work but the affects of the product will take its toll on your skin, meaning you will look uneven.
Use skin bleaching if you have dark spots and you want even skin tone.
people who overuse skin bleaching cream don’t really look attractive because there skin tones don’t match up.
If you must use it, use sparingly, maybe once a day, morning or night…

I was looking for a lightener that worked, but wanted to do a little research 1st. I was going to buy a product called Dr. Fred Summit skin Whitener… but there seems to be a lot of skeptical people and I’ve been told that it’s not that safe.
it’s not because it’s hydroquinone-based which can harm the skin.. try a mild skin lightening soap (black licorice soap) and/or dermaline skin whitening cream.. it’s what i use.

I am interested in using some skin brighteners to help with some dark spots on my knees and inner thighs. I have tried using lemons, and it didn’t seem to help at all. Most of the skin brighteners I have found are for the face. Any good ones that can be used on the rest of the body? Thanks in advance!

Hello. I am Hispanic but i don’t look like it much. I have a lot of nationalities but mostly my asian side shows. My skin is pale-ish and i’m wondering if i should use skin brighteners. I have dark spots from acne and when i was searching for skin lightening products i saw this thing about the FDA trying to ban them. supposedly there have been rare cases of skin diseases forming but most of them in africa…. i’m not sure what to do but should i use them anyway?
there are safe and effective skin lighteners/brighteners in the market.. try a mild skin lightening soap.. when i had dark acne marks, i used black licorice soap and worked well for me..
is it worth it?.. heck it is.:-)
