skincare treatments
I was just wondering if anyone has any skincare secrets they use to keep their skin fresh and blemish free. I have blemish prone skin and I have spent WAY too much money trying to find something that works for my skin. I have tried accutane ([erscribed by my dermatologist, Proactive, and many over the counter acne treatments and none of them have given me the results that I want. So, please share your skincare secrets with me
Cleaning your skin is a must! You also need to protect it. 80 percent of aging is caused by the environment and free radicals.
Your skin is on a 21 day cycle so don’t expect immediate results after starting a new regimen, wait 3 weeks before deciding it doesn’t work. Okay…
Cleanse, Repair and Moisturize… Yes moisturize. All skin types need moisture.
For acne prone skin I’d recommend Clinique or Prescriptives.
For a cleanser, try something that has salicylic acid in it. Clinique is best for this. For a repair product, you can choose Prescriptives acne serum or Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair (which might I say will solve almost any skin care problem) As for moisturizer, I’ve found Estee Lauder’s oily formula to be the best.
Exfoliation is also a must. For that try a gentle one such as Clinique 7 day scrub.
*Of course you can find similar products in drug stores, I am just not familiar with any of them. The key ingredient is salicylic acid in the cleanser and hyaluronic acid in the repair and/or moisturizer.
I know this is a lot to throw out there but acne prone skin is the most difficult to treat. It depends greatly on if your skin is dry and irritated or just extremely oily.

I have reallllllly sensitive skin that has redness and very oily
i dont have alot of acne,,,,just a new one or two pimple everyweek ( i think thats not alot ?? )
i really need some skincare products, cleanser, toner, moisturizer, treatment cream for sensitive skin
i prefer products with natural ingredients , not the one with strong chemical
any thing would help,,,drugstore,department products….ect
I recommend you give Philosophy’s Purity Made Simple a try. It is the BEST facial cleanser ever. It is so milky so it moisturizes your face, it also acts as a makeup remover (for non waterproof makeup) as well as a toner! It is a little pricey but you only need like a dime size to completely layer your face. My skin is SUPER sensitive and this was so gentle and actually helped it get healthier. Here is a review about this product, and it has like some pictures in case you wanna research if this would work right for you http://theultimatemakeup.com/blog/2009/05/27/oh-im-flying-oh-wait-i-am-just-washing-my-face-with-philosophys-purity-made-simple/
To be on the safe side, I would just get it at Sephora because they have best return policy ever. So if you didn’t like it after you use it, you can just go back and return it for the full amount you paid. Oh! and it is very gentle and has Sephora’s Natural approval seal
Please let me know if you have any other specific questions about this and I would be super glad to help you!

I am looking to purchase acne treatments eBooks. My friend recommended that I try a couple of eBooks, and she also mentioned Magical Skincare Kingdom. Before buying I really want to read a good and honest review of the product. Can anyone help or direct me to a review of Magical Skincare Kingdom?
Thanks so much!

Any tips or advice on products? I was going to buy the stuff later this week.
1. Facial Cleanser
Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Redness Soothing Facial Cleanser
2. Exfoliator
St. Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub
3. Moisturizer
St. Ives Mineral Moisturizer with SPF 15
4. Acne Treatment
Stridex Dual Solutions Intensive Acne Repair (only when needed)
Thanks to any help!
I think it’s an average skin routine and should work fine ;D
But it’d be better to use Exfoliater as the first step, then Cleanser [;
